Raelle Myrick-Hodges
"The 2008-2009 season is meant to celebrate as a community by discussing what we try to avoid: censorship, gentrification, parental rights, racism, sexism and sometimes love... these works so serious, yet they make you laugh out loud at our own society's hypocrisy, insecurity and most of all cultural indulgence. They provoke an audience to believe in making a difference intellectually, socially and economically." - Raelle Myrick-Hodges, Artistic Director

Raelle Myrick-Hodges and Brava continue to perservere after international cancellation of production

As good as her word, new Brava! for Women in the Arts Artistic Director Raelle Myrick-Hodges has announced her first season, and it contains the fullest lineup of theatrical productions the Brava Theater Center has seen yet. What she's calling her "Shout Out Loud" season contains nine shows, including world and regional premieres...

Raelle Myrick-Hodges is just settling in as artistic director of Brava Theater Center and its parent, Brava! for Women in the Arts. Though she's known for several months that she'd been chosen to replace founder Ellen Gavin, who stepped down to pursue screenwriting in Los Angeles, she's had promises to keep before she could devote herself full time to her new job...
