Directed by Dylan Russell
September 25, 2010-October 16, 2010 Tickets $15-$35
Greece and Troy are at war. Agamemnon wrestles with an unthinkable choice: sacrifice his daughter Iphigeneia and appease the gods, or face defeat and shame his people. His wife Klytaimnestra stands between Agamemnon and his fatal choice. Dylan Russell helms this edgy, lyrical adaptation of Euripides’ Greek tragedy Iphigeneia at Aulis, featuring acclaimed actor and incoming African-American Shakespeare Artistic Director L. Peter Callender, Bay Area favorite C. Kelly Wright, and up-and-coming talent Traci Tolmaire.
